The journal is dedicated to extensive reviews and contributions on topics of current interest in basic and patientoriented cancer research. The systems of the biology of cancer with a potential of molecular-assisted diagnostics and treatment imply competence across the sciences as well as an increasing necessity for cancer researchers to understand both the technology and medicine.
The journal allows readers to quickly adapt a better understanding of various fields of molecular oncology.
We welcome articles on basic mechanisms relevant to cancer, such as DNA repair, cell cycle, etc., the use of model organisms, overviews of various scientific approaches (epidemiology, molecular genetics, epigenetics, bioinformatics, high-throughput approaches, etc.) applied to one disease or to cancer in general, and updates on validation studies of biomarkers as well as the implementation of molecular oncology into clinical practice.
