Open Access Options
Green Open Access
Authors who choose Green Open Access can have their original accepted manuscript self-archived and accessible in their institutions repositories after an embargo period. The original accepted article is the version that has gone through peer review and has received the Editors approval, but has not been copyedited, typeset, and metadata has not been applied to the article. Green Open Access does not require any fee as publication costs are paid by library subscriptions.
Gold Open Access
Authors who choose Gold Open Access will immediately have public access to their final published article. Gold Open Access requires a fee that is to be paid by the author(s) of the article or by their institution or funding group on behalf of the author(s). Begell House fees range between $1,500.00 - $3,200.00 US dollars, depending on the journal. Fees for Gold Open Access can be found on the journal homepages.
